“I started cleaning houses on my own, out of the back of my car, across Melbourne's northern suburbs. I still remember the first customer who asked if I could come back the following week. That's when it stopped being a job and started being a business.
Nothing about the work has changed since then, but a lot about how we do it has. We're a team now, spread across 24 suburbs from Craigieburn to Ringwood.
I think consistency is the whole thing. Anyone can do one good clean. Doing the ninetieth one just as carefully, in a house where nobody's watching, is the part that's hard, and it's the part we've built the business around.
